Gina thanks for choosing to be my friend I want to use content analysis and e-questionnaire. I think that will add validity and makes for reliability. Below are my research questions

RESEARCH QUESTIONS

What are the most/frequently reported news content on facebook and twitter?
What makes the social media users to read/follow a particular news story posted a particular newspaper?
What identity do the readers possess? Or Is there any chance for identity formation as users are exposed to online newspaper on social media?

Gina, it has to be a collaborative work. In India Im initiating to conduct a National Level Conference on New Media and National Development. I had difficulty in convincing the Conference Committee and finally it has taken shape. We have received close to 30 abstracts and full text would reach us on or before 15th march 2011. Selected papers will be approved for oral presentation and poster presentations. Further, quality papers will be selected for publications in a book form.  Well this is all I could do now from India.

From our virtual friends as a joint collaboration we could have an archive of papers and some of us could read them and improve the quality of the paper and prepare for it to be enlisted for publication with Sage

Never heard from you for a long time.

We are planning to bring out a publication on New media and it's impact on personal relationships as one of the sub-themes. Are you keen to contribute. Katie is contributing.

Gina as your are an expert in communication and relationships using ICT. I am keen to do a research on relational communication to enhance foreign relations. Could be give me tips. For example I would comment on the example of President Obama's recet visit to India has build good relaitons with the Governement and people. I am looking at that component or that magic that transfomed the mind of the mass with respect to Relational Communication for economic development between nations.

I too agree it is a good thing. However, for discussion could you tell me

a) how could we have 75% of our population who have no bank account start one.

b) How to reduce corruption? or should we legalize corruption and have those criminals pay a heafty tax. Thereby, cummuliating the fund for further gambling among the bad guys. This way the comman man's tax amount could be used for productive purposes. You never know funds for gambling could grow more than the tax payers capital.

c)  How to get the majority to trust the digital content?

d) How to build relationships over the net?

Gina I guess we need to wait and see what technology has in future for us. AI and Robotics would surely have a market. Don't you think this is a kind of semi-feudalism where most of our daily process has been captured by technology and we need to use them to benefit a minor brilliant technocrats who become more powerful. If people lay thier TRUST then we need to look ahead as to how human communication could be at par with the socio emotions.

Please to meet you, Gina.
I´m a PhD student too, at the Unversity of Seville, about Touristic Communication and Advertising. I´m very interested in these issues and also in process of communication. So this community would help, I think.
Thanks!

I probably think that youth these days feel free in their mind to text or voice over digital messages than to converse in person to people. And those who are habituated feel lost in communication and get stressed out. I have my students who literally would weap if their mobiles are lost or Confiscated and would wait to any extent of time to collect the gadet back. Did a research paper in this area too.
