Your one on interpreting statistical information addresses a key problem in teaching journalism/comm students I think - namely that neither students nor (often) their teachers are terribly numerate! Do you know Dana Keller's Tao of Statistics: A Path to Understanding (with no Math)? I found that very helpful.
