Hi Gina, Thank you for the powerpoints on Math for journalism students and using Twitter - very helpful and really provided me with food for thought. Your one on interpreting statistical information addresses a key problem in teaching journalism/comm students I think - namely that neither students nor (often) their teachers are terribly numerate!  Do you know Dana Keller's Tao of Statistics: A Path to Understanding (with no Math)?  I found that very helpful.

Here is a powerpoint I've used to teach journalists how to use Twitter. Can easily be tailored to teach any type of student to use Twitter. You can reach it here: twitterforj.ppt. Thought others might find it useful.
