thanks for that great video about the future of libraries. i am fearful that the librarians are providing services that i would use if only i knew about them. am i falling behind? in addition, i sometimes am referred to a journal article that i cannot access because i don't know whether my university has purchased access. can librarians create more videos that provide more specific information about available services, collections and databases?

Two new interesting developments to post - i) the University of Oxford becomes one of the first universities to add ePubs to their portfolio on iTunes U (it's Shakespeare first folio of 36 plays) and ii) the University of Denver has undergone a $30 million renovation of their library, increasing it's space for its tech-savvy students. The university have moved to renting ebooks after claiming 40% of their purchased hard copy books have gone unused.
